Description

The bronze statue of greets us outside the ever popular Titanic Belfast Visitor Centre. Reminiscent of a ship’s figurehead from a former age, this piece was created in 2012 by Dublin artist Roman Gillespie.

The curved mermaid-like form is in sharp contrast to the angular design of the exterior of the world famous exhibition centre.
