This photo of the Mountains of Mourne was taken from the Head Road near Kilkeel, in County Down. The shapes and shadows of the magnificent dry-stone wall are echoed in the mountains themselves as well as the clouds.
The tallest peak is Slieve Binnian, standing proudly over the scene at 747 metres tall. These walls are known locally as ‘ditches’.
