Dry stone walls, like these at Annalong near Newcastle, are a common sight across the Kingdom of Mourne; indeed throughout the island of Ireland and beyond. I always marvel at the obvious skill and effort of those who constructed them long ago, as well as those who build and restore them nowadays.
