A man of few words and many! This remarkable guy 'Le Nomade’ sits looking out to sea, on the ramparts of the Port Vaubon in Antibes, in the South of France. The eight metre sculpture cast in alumimium, was designed by the Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa in 2010. Talking about his piece he said, 'Telles briques, les lettres ont une potentialité de construction, elles nous permettent de construire une pensée.' ('Like bricks letters have the potential to construct, they enable us to construct a thought.') What's this Nomad thinking? What are your thoughts? The piece was purchased by the Musée Picasso which is five minutes walk from here along the coastal path.
