There has been a castle perched precariously here at Dunluce, Co Antrim, since the 13th century. Imagine the task faced by the original builders. It has witnessed many events, including the shipwreck of the galleon ‘Girona’, part of the Spanish Armada. The sea was relatively calm in the November sunshine, when I took the photograph.
