These massive structures were moved to the new Titanic Quarter in 2019, from their original home in the gardens near Belfast Cathedral. They were given to Belfast City Council in 1983 by the Commissioners of Irish Lights, who are responsible for lighthouses around Ireland. These sculpture like buoys each weigh 3 tonnes and now are a fitting and dramatic part of Titanic Quarter.
